Service Description

A jewelry removal appointment is designed for clients who need professional assistance removing piercing jewelry safely and comfortably.

This service may be appropriate for permanent jewelry removal, temporary jewelry removal for medical procedures or imaging appointments, stuck jewelry, difficult-to-remove jewelry, or situations where removal is recommended to support healing.

In some cases, jewelry removal may not be the best solution. If a piercing issue can be resolved safely through troubleshooting, downsizing, jewelry replacement, or retainer installation, your piercer may recommend an alternative solution during the appointment.

For fresh or healing piercings requiring temporary jewelry removal for surgery, MRI scans, work requirements, or other situations, glass or silicone retainers may be installed when appropriate.

We only perform removals that we believe can be completed safely and responsibly in a studio environment.

Starting Prices

Standard Jewelry Removal
1–3 removals — $15
4–6 removals — $30

Appointment times:
1–2 removals — 10 minutes
3–4 removals — 15 minutes
5–6 removals — 20 minutes

Microdermal Removal
1–3 removals — $15
4–6 removals — $30

Appointment times:
1–2 removals — 15 minutes
3–4 removals — 20 minutes
5–6 removals — 25 minutes

Please note that piercings can shrink or close very quickly once jewelry is removed, even if the piercing is fully healed or several years old. We cannot guarantee that jewelry will be able to be reinserted later without tapering assistance or a new piercing procedure.
